Music Marathon of Threesomes from the Vardar to Triglav anticipates an annual autumn tour of three young but distinguished bands from three countries at three different venues in three different countries.
This year’s Music Marathon of threesomes from the Vardar to Triglav is bringing to the stage of Kino Šiška Slovenian pioneers of noise rock NIKKI LOUDER, who are using the opportunity to announce their new album, the Belgrade-based explosive power-surf attraction THREESOME, and Macedonian electro-pop misfits KNNT.
With the Music Marathon of Threesomes from the Vardar to Triglav, the threesome Nikki Louder, Threesome and KNNT are also performing together on 13 November 2015 in KC Grad, Belgrade, and on 14 November 2015 in MKC, Skopje.
NIKKI LOUDER
(Kamnik, Slovenia)
A chaotic noise rock threesome from around Kamnik, Slovenia, Nikki Louder have played around 200 gigs across the former Yugoslavia, as well as several tours of Central Europe and the UK. Having released three LPs, their intense, chaotic and loud music making has surely earned them the title of Slovenian pioneers of noise rock.
Famous for its punch and relentlessness, the band bombards its audience with quick and raw bursts of energy surfing the pounding drums and guitar noise, the melodic shift enabling a momentous break, just a short halt before a repeated plunge into a new loudspeaker-racking storm. The shattered vocals, treading at all times on the thin margin between articulation and screaming, add additional seasonings and integrate all sounds into a wonderful unity. Nikki Louder are releasing their new album “Trout” (Moonlee Records/ZARŠ) in December 2015.

THREESOME
(Belgrade, Serbia)
Threesome is an explosive, Belgrade-based power surf trio, presenting a mainly instrumental combination of early 1960’s surf rock, new wave, punk and math rock. Ever since their triumph at the Demofest in Banja Luka in 2010, they have been continuously releasing high-quality audio and video products, playing a series of concerts across the region and Europe-wide – all this without compromise and with excellent music ability!
Uroš Milkić on guitar, Petar Živić on bass and Jovana Petrović behind drums, are restoring the lost faith in the power of rock ‘n’ roll, which in the post-Nirvana Era has been much too hyper-commercialised, diluted, castrated and bland. Their vision of surf rock boasts the sharpness of punk and a dynamics that would be the envy of masters of the genre.

KNNT
(Skopje, Macedonia)
KNNT is an atypical, Skopje-based duo as founded in 2010 by Marko Janev (drums, synth) and Ivan Trajev (synth, bass). The originally mainly industrially oriented band has gradually been turning towards electric sounds as well as experimenting in breaking genre boundaries. One of the youngest and most intriguing ensembles of the thriving music scene of Skopje.
