MENT Ljubljana is a breath of fresh air on the Slovenian scene. With its lively, daring and hospitable stance, it represents a welcome addition and one of the more important music festivals in the region.
The club festival of many genres, which will take place at eight venues in the beginning of February, starts a new chapter with the coming year. During three days, Ljubljana will host over 50 performers from more than twenty countries. And not just for the sake of numbers – MENT focuses on new music forces, wherever they may be. On good bands and producers, whether Siberian rock ‘n’ roll, Belarussian post-punk, Estonian folk, Croatian psychedelia, Serbian Americana, Austrian electro pop or Slovenian noise. In 2016, the European flavour of the festival will also be spiced up by three protégés of renowned American label Ghostly International.

Festival schedule>
The festival will also include an international music conference, dedicated to networking, educating and presenting different views regarding various music business topics, creation and exchange. As a platform for supporting, promoting and assisting Slovenian musicians abroad, MENT Ljubljana accompanied 12 performers to as many as 31 concerts at eight international events in 2015. One such event, Eurosonic Noorderslag, will host three Slovenian bands in January, as well as delegates from the MENT festival, which had been immediately accepted into the ETEP (European Talent Exchange Programme) network at the launch of the first edition.

Tickets:
Festival tickets are available at a price of 34.90€ (27.90€ for students and retirees) until 2nd February 2016. Tickets will cost 39.90€ during the festival. Festival day tickets are available at a price of 15,00€.
Pro pass tickets, which also include the conference programme, are available for 49.90€ until 2nd February 2016. Pro pass tickets will cost 54.90€ during the festival. Day tickets for the festival and conference are available at a price of 25,00€.
