In her work, visual artist Vesna Bukovec explores various media. Within the framework of the By The Way exhibition series, she will display her current drawings to passers-by on Vegova Street, offering her own commentary and critique of modern social reality.
Vesna Bukovec (1977) graduated in sculpture and concluded her M.A. studies at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Ljubljana. She is self-employed in culture and works both as an independent artist and as a member of the KOLEKTIVA art collective (together with Metka Zupančič and Lada Cerar). She works with various media (drawings, video, installation art), utilising different procedures in doing so (exploration, appropriation, participation etc.). She has been featured in numerous domestic and international exhibitions.
