Slovenia has reached another, maybe the major turning point in ensuring equality before the law for LGBTIQ+ persons in the context of a potential referendum on the amendment of Marriage and Family Relations Act. With the 2015 Parade, Parada Ponosa Society is seeking to mobilise parents and other close relatives of LGBTIQ+ persons as well as all citizens supporting freedom and equality in Slovenia, supporting human rights of LGBTIQ+ persons, who have not been engaging in social activities through various processes, such as the referendum. The round table will be looking at the importance of being active socially from their perspective.
