The debut album Beekeeper was released in 2012 to great praise in the media and Rangleklods’ growing fanbase. Their latest album “Straitjacket” has made them into one of the must buzzed about electronic acts in 2015.
The duo have been one of the most proficiently touring Danish bands internationally for several years, with performances on notable European festivals such as Roskilde Festival, Sziget Festival, Ja Ja Ja Festival, MS Dockville, Europavox and many more.
Embracing both astounding complexity in their productions and a sense of immediacy in their approach to songwriting, Rangleklods have earned themselves a rapidly growing fanbase.
The duo’s sources of inspiration are as diverse as their own music and Esben and Pernille highlights both Burial’s evocative industrial soundscapes, David Bowie’s insistence to challenge and explore his own self, Brian Eno’s production of Talking Head’s against David Byrne’s ferocity, Dan Snaith of Caribou ability to unite the electronic and the organic and even Alanis Morissette’s vulnerability and forgotten 90s harmonies.
Rangleklods pushes the boundaries of genre and production methods and create intelligent club music which generates movement – both physically and mentally. Rangleklods is about finding the balance between simplicity and complexity and following an idea wherever it is heading…

With 2015 upon us, Rangleklods are finally ready with new music
The single “lost u” is released by Tambourhinoceros (Cancer, Chorus Grant, CTM & Frisk Frugt etc.).
The product of a search for unique hybrids between dark electronic genres, such as future garage, 2 step and trip-hop, and the classic pop-structure, Liamere is a joint project of singer and songwriter Malidah, and arranger and producer Ferguson. Their music is a sonic mixture of urban atmospheres, broken rhythms as well as melancholy and hoarse female vocals.
In early October they presented to their fans their trip-hop like single Sabotage, taking the listener for six minutes into a rasping atmosphere featuring defined percussions, an organic environment as well as shy and emotive female vocals.
Recently, the duo have released their eponymous long-play debut, Liamere. Its nine tracks take the listener into a world of urban solitude and cold feelings, which are the elements of the duo’s vision in music.
In concert, the duo actually turns into a trio, as Liamere are joined by Anej Kočevar on bass, otherwise collaborating with Malidah in the Harshside project, while also contributing to bands like Adam, Anavrin. Gušti and Lačni Franz.
