Young artist Jasmina Grudnik is using character drawing to explore the view from her former room over the Šoštanj coal-fired power plant, which once represented to her a constant in the childhood routine and a prevision of the world beyond. In her spatial installation of translucent surfaces she presents variations of the power plant industrial landscape scene, heavy puffs of smoke pluming out between the woods and the field. Its (im)materiality thus touches upon memory that is equally intense and elusive.
