The return of Killswitch Engage

Returning to Slovenia this June to the delight of many are Killswitch Engage, one of the best known metalcore bands worldwide.

KSE might not be the first, but surely they are one of the greatest on the metalcore scene. Having emerged from the ashes of Overcast, this band has taken its love of honest and worldly lyrics and melodic guitar assaults to undreamed-of levels with what are now genre-classics The End Of Heartache and Alive Or Just Breathing, drawing both from subsequent hardcore as well as Swedish melodic metal incarnations the likes of In Flames and At The Gates, adding a measure of the British legends Iron Maiden and heavy drumming rhythms. Wherever they come, they play a spectacular gig, brimming with good tunes, wild fun and proper breaknecking. Now they are returning with their new album, Incarnate, to be released this spring on Roadrunner Records. Although this is their second time in Slovenia, they are bringing for the very first time their original vocalist Jesse David Leach. A concert not to be missed!!!

The thrash in Kino Šiška will be further boosted by the excellent US-based August Burns Red, and the young but coltish Bury Tomorrow, who have already played in Slovenia.

*British metal band Architects, one of the hottest names on the scene in recent years, which was suposed to join the blazing in Kino Šiška are unfortunately canceling their tour. Here is their statement:

Due to a family emergency Architects are forced to cancel the rest of their European festival tour for June.  They hate to let you guys down and would appreciate all of your understanding and support.  The band would like to ask that you respect their privacy during this difficult time.
