Heroes of avant-garde, as referred to by the festival of festivals, Primavera Sound! of Barcelona. Genesis P. Orridge, a controversial figure from the British 1980’s music and art avant-garde, used to be a he, now a she, already appeared in the middle of provocative, conceptual sound and video art while a member of Throbbing Gristle, the pioneers of “industrial” who also had a great impact on Slovenian heroes Laibach and Borghesia. During h/er current European tour, Genesis is appearing with h/er latest incarnation PTV3, packed with post-punk, industrial-rhythms and conceptual video. Having been active since 2003, they recorded the album Snakes with Genesis in 2014, a proof that the avant-garde hero has preserved h/er experimental pulse and provocative spirit.
PTV3 have invited the Idrija-based band Aikula to support them in Kino Šiška.
