Špil Liga is entering its third season!
For the third year in a row, doors of Komuna Hall, Kino Šiška will be wide open to young musicians to present their music creations.
The first three competing bands to present themselves are:
Teenagers (Koper)
Ice on Fire (Novo mesto)
Attic Mist (Škofja Loka)
Four competition nights will result in eight semi-finalists. In March and April, four finalists will be selected to compete in June to become the champion of Špil Liga 2015/2016.
Špil Liga Rules:
On each competition night, the two winners are chosen from votes by the expert jury and concert visitors respectively, the visitors submitting their preference by sending an SMS. When all the three bands have concluded their performance, the 10-minute SMS voting beings, and in the meantime the jury announce their ranking beginning with 3rd place. When 10 minutes have passed, results of SMS voting are also known.
If the top place as selected by jury equals the top position in the audience vote, the band chosen as second best by the expert jury stays in competition.
Having kept track of the bands from the very beginning, the expert jury is composed of Klavdija Kopina (MMC), Tomaž Pezdirc (Radio Terminal) and Toni Cahunek (RTV SLO).
The winning band of the current season will be able to record three tracks with the support of SAE Institute Ljubljana, play a gig in Kino Šiška, and all its members will be entitled to a 50% discount on the ORTO ELASTIK monthly mobile plan.
Admission to Špil Liga is free of charge.
