Ciril Horjak, alias Dr Horowitz, otherwise the author of the very first comic strip ever to be dedicated to endodontics, says he doesn’t miss anything. He has almost too much of everything: pencils, paper, loans and children. There is only one thing missing in his pursuit of perfection – graduation. This year he is completing his studies at the Academy of Fine Arts. Having completed the practical part of his dissertation two years ago, many have been holding their breath, waiting for his theoretical part. What will be new in his writings? Is he only summing up his findings of the past ten years? Is he going to emphasise educational comics or the language of comics in general? Don’t hold your breath, breathe deeply and come to listen to the man who draws almost as much as he speaks. At the presentation, this doctor without a degree will be joined by his friend Jasmina Hlaj. And, what a coincidence, Jasmina will be posing just the questions that Ciril knows how to answer.
