Café Kino Šiška

summer in Šiška 2021

M o r v e r n

free concert cycle

In three years, the diligent one-man-band m o r v e r n has put out no fewer than 22 releases on his Bandcamp profile, all linked by slacker habits and a lo-fi sound.

He collaborates regularly with the Ljubljana-based underground label ŠOP Records, which also released, in the words of Odzven, the “charismatic album of extremely sweet melancholy” Not What I Heard, which we’ll listen to live. He’ll be joined onstage by familiar pals Damjan Manevski (Lelee, Rush to Relax) on solo guitar, Vasja Onič (Ujma, persons from porlock) on drums, and Erik Kerpan (Pistol Mustang, Long Dumb Voices) on bass.

Summer in Šiška is a series of free evening concerts, helping you chase away the social distancing blues. If the weather cooperates, we’ll cool off with a refreshing drink on the summer terrace of Café Kino Šiška, and if it looks to be raining, we’ll listen to good tunes in accordance with applicable public health regulations beneath the roof of our Komuna Hall. Welcome to your Summer in Šiška!

Free entry.

Organisation: Café Kino Šiška and Kino Šiška.
