Austrian musician, performer and acoustic composer Thomas Gorbach is coming to Ljubljana, together with artists Martino Claussen and Patrick K.-H. from the art association The Acousmatic Project. Their opening concerts with eight speakers placed in a circle have grown into a concert organization with a specially built orchestra The Vienna Acousmonium, consisting of more than thirty speakers with the ability to manipulate live sound.
The ambience of the Katedrala Hall in Kino Šiška will be transformed into a multi-dimensional sound studio and laboratory for sensitive and focused listening. On a sound system consisting of thirty high-quality speakers, Thomas Gorbach will present a curated selection of recorded multi-channel electroacoustic compositions and performances by invited Slovenian and Austrian sound artists.
Organisation: Cona Zavod
