As opening act, the main stage in Kino Šiška will host for the first time the winners of the Špilliga contest, season one – Koala Voice!
Continuing along their path of exploration in 2014, Moveknowledgement have their fifth studio album coming up. “See” brings their signature sound face-to-face with the legacy of psychedelic rock. To make space for guitar odysseys, keyboard explosions and N’tokos deviations into rap, tracks have been extended far beyond radio-friendly lengths, inviting the listener for a travel into a dystopian future.
The lyrics are edgy, alienated far into the universe, yet very much down to earth in the reality of today. The new Moveknowledgement might be unkind to commercial radio formats, but they are that much kinder to the dance floor, a continuous pulse of Krautrock drum ‘n’ bass embracing tightly all the 8 tracks . ”See” is a schizophrenic manifesto of musicians observing the world around them and being aware at all times that we are being observed as well.
Appearing on the main stage as support act for the very first time, Koala Voice, is a four member band from Kisovec composed of Domen Don Holc (guitar), Manca Trampuš (guitar, vocals), Miha Prašnikar (drums, backvocala) in Tilen Prašnikar (bass).
They find themselves at a crossroads of music genres (rock, modern pop, disco). At times pounding recklessly, then again shamelessly popoid. They played their first gigs in 2012 and have listed a number of successful performances, including appearances at Vičstock 2013 and Rock Otočec 2013. They also recorded victories at Vizije Festival 2014 and Špil liga 2014, and were accepted to perform at Klubski Maraton 2014.
Sincerely positive feedback from their audiences and their own desires influenced their decision to record their first album. In the on-going process they are being assisted by producer Peter Dekleva.
