When do “truth” and “reality” intersect? Is something that seems real to us always true? In order to explore these questions, The Mountain incorporates the first expedition to Mount Everest, the success of which remains uncertain to this day, Orson Welles’ controversial radio programme The War of the Worlds, fake websites, and Vladimir Putin’s debate on truth and trust.
