Masayah, one of the most promising Slovenian hip-hop/RnB artists, is coming to Šiška. After laying the foundation with hundreds of thousands of online streams of hits like “Ni panike”, the talented young musician will finally present her debut solo album, one of the most anticipated releases of the year.
Masayah, a 21-year-old hip-hop and RnB artist, started to rack up hundreds of thousands of streams with her very first official track. Released on her 18th birthday, the track “Pusto” proved to be an instant hit, with which she immediately broke onto the local scene. She continued her success with the melancholic hit “Da blo bi”, and then “Ni panike” – all of which recorded hundreds of thousands of views on YouTube alone.
Last year, Masayah teamed up with established Slovenian producer Hyu and the Beletrina label and released an album for a collection of Slovenian rebel poetry entitled H2SO4. On it, she collaborated with local rap veterans such as Emkej, Zlatko, Ghet and Vazz. Putting her diverse musical knowledge to hard work, she’s now preparing her first solo album. It will be released in April 2023 and will finally present the promising musician in her full form. A new important milestone on the Slovenian music scene, her album will surely resonate in the wider region thanks to Masayah’s wild musical creativity, unwavering view of the world and adherence to her own standards of quality. Live, we’ll be able to hear it at the album release party in Šiška in May.
