EZRA’s first solo show at Kino Šiška! After many collabs with big names from the local hip hop scene (Nipke, Masayah, Matter) and hits such as 100rakks and TORERO, the standard-bearer of Ljubljana’s contemporary rap finally presents his debut full-length album MANIFEST. He will be joined on stage by outstanding representatives of the Slovenian trap scene: PTČ, Ledeni, Junior, Tamzy and others.
FOR FANS OF: Yeat, Matter, Capital Crew…
EZRA, the enigmatic Ljubljana-based rapper, singer and producer at Kino Šiška presents his new album MANIFEST, which he, as he says, released “more as a surprise for listeners who I want to take to new sonic realms of Slovenian hip-hop/trap.” At the concert, he will perform all 17 tracks from the album, which was announced with the singles Zmaÿi (2023), Nč Ne Vem (2024) & Tle Se Premikamo Drgač (2024) and produced almost in its entirety by EZRA. The album features guest appearances by Drill, JunioR, T.A.M.Z.Y., Capital Crew, Ledeni, PTČ & BuyMoney.
EZRA’s creative beginnings date back to 2016, when he started “recording and producing ideas for a bit of fun” with his good friend and perhaps the country’s most astute young producer right now, HYU. With his first two EPs, which were both recorded in English (MONOCHROME & GOOD SAUCE), he gave a small glimpse into his artistic diversity and musical talent. He was also featured on the Dravle Records album Buden as well as the tracks Ubijalci Sanj with Zala & Gašper and Brez Kulture with Matter & LaBagro. He also made a guest appearance on Capital Crew’s album Past on the track Ne Se Delat. Just over a year and a half ago he released his first single in Slovenian V Lajfu Ne Delam Kar Nočm (2022), which marked the beginning of his solo career. For his second EP, Good Sauce, Ezra shot a series of outstanding music videos.
It’s going to be a great night, so listen to EZRA when he says “won’t do what I don’t want to in life” and rest assured that you don’t want to miss this show.
