At the inaugural event of the LEXIKON I series, a carefully selected ensemble will create an imaginary intersection between traditional historical dances and contemporary clubbing experiences.
The artist in residence, Jan Kopač, aims to playfully explore the socio-cultural intersections and differences in aesthetics, meaning, art, and entertainment in urban dance events over time.
The concert is the conclusion of a three-day residency as part of the program [studio for urban music], which is prepared by the .abeceda Institute in cooperation with Kino Šiška.
