Moving Balkans: Registrations for the First Showcase Now Open!

We are thrilled to announce that delegate registrations are now officially open for the first-ever Moving Balkans Contemporary Dance Showcase! This exciting event will bring together innovative artists, choreographers, and dance enthusiasts from across the region to celebrate contemporary dance in the Balkans.
As a delegate, you will have the unique opportunity to connect with industry professionals, explore cutting-edge performances, and gain insights into the vibrant world of contemporary dance in the Balkans. We strongly encourage you to register quickly to secure your spot. Due to capacity limitations, we will only be able to accommodate one delegate per organisation, so we are kindly asking you to plan accordingly.
Why Attend?
The Moving Balkans Showcase offers a carefully curated program of 10 diverse performances, ranging from intimate to spectacular, and Dance Scape pitch sessions featuring 6 artists, providing a unique window into the rich, dynamic contemporary dance scene of the Balkans. Each city will also feature networking opportunities with local professionals, offering you a chance to explore the potential for collaborations and partnerships with artists and organisations from the region.

Moving Balkans is a new European project that brings together dance organizations from the Balkans. The mission of the platform is to elevate contemporary dance in the region and position it competitively within Europe. Through a regional partnership network, showcases, artist mobility initiatives, workshops, co-creations, and capacity-building activities, we strive to empower dance professionals and raise awareness of the vibrant dance scene in the Balkans.
