One of the key American punk rock bands, the legendary skate punkers Lagwagon, are returning to Šiška for a raucous kick-off to summer 2025!

Hailing from California, Lagwagon is one of those cult bands that drove the punk rock revival of the 1990s, standing shoulder to shoulder with bands like Rancid, The Offspring, and Green Day as they took the world by storm. The original skate punkers were taken under the wing of Fat Mike (NOFX) from the very beginning. On his label Fat Wreck Records, Lagwagon has released nine studio albums to date, including their debut Duh – considered by many to be one of the most influential punk rock albums of that decade. Later albums such as Let’s Talk About Feelings and Blaze further demonstrate the band’s ability to evolve while honouring their roots, solidifying their status as enduring icons of the genre.

Lagwagon’s sound is distinguished by a well-balanced mix of catchy melodies and raw energy, appealing to both punk purists and fans of more accessible melodic rock. Frontman Joey Cape brings it all together with his distinctive vocals, exploring themes ranging from personal introspection and relationships to social commentary and humorous observations. As the school year comes to a close, the band is set to dominate the Šiška stage once again, delivering an unforgettable musical introduction to summer.

Lagwagon will be joined by IDEM and Slaughterhouse. The former is a Porin award-winning post-pop-punk solo project by Croatian musician Antun Aleksa, who channels his deepest emotions through bittersweet, personal superhits. After selling out solo shows in Zagreb and performing on our summer terrace, he made his debut with a full band at this year’s MENT – once again impressing the audience.

Slaughterhouse, a punk and death rock band from Los Angeles, has been captivating audiences since 2017 with their high-energy live shows and distinctive sound, shaped by their debut album Fun Factory. They’ve shared the stage with major acts like Pennywise, Social Distortion, and Bad Religion, and their single “Poison” was featured on BBC1 Radio.
