Moving Balkans is a contemporary dance platform bringing together dance organizations from the Balkans. Our aim is to improve and support contemporary dance by raising awareness, producing dance works and organizing educational activities for dance professionals from the Balkans.

We are pleased to announce that this year, for the first time, we are launching an open call for participation in the group commercial exhibition Fresh Fish at the DobraVaga Gallery. We invite all interested artists to send their contributions by 29 February 2024. The exhibition will debut on 9 April 2024. You are kindly invited to participate!

The deadline for the 1st Open Call for Artists in Residence Program of WOMCOM has been extended to June 12, 2023 (00.00 CET)! As part of a new internatinational WOMCOM (Women Power in Comics) project we’re announcing a call for two 2-week artist residencies for comic or visual artists, living and working in Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Greece, or Hungary.
As part of the MODINA project, co-funded by the EU, we’re opening a call for five 8-week artist residencies in dance & technology, for multidisciplinary duos, in late 2023/early 2024 (DE,EE,HU,RO,SI). Deadline for applying: 24 May 2023.
