Дeva is a fully DIY solo project by 19-year-old Budapest-based musician Dorina Takács. Music has always played a major role in her life (choirs, bands and musicals), but she felt it’s time to take matters into her own hands and do everything on her own. She writes and produces her own tracks, and also sings and designs her artworks. Her output is characterised by smooth atmospheric sounds, pulsating bass lines and polyphonic mantras inspired by magical Hungarian folk songs. Her solo project aims to knock down the barriers between different music genres and make our spirits soar.
Summer in Šiška is a series of free evening concerts, helping you chase away the summer boredom. If the weather cooperates, we’ll cool off with a refreshing drink on the summer terrace of Café Kino Šiška, and if it looks to be raining, we’ll listen to good tunes curled up on the couches in our lobby.
