ARTish opened its doors for the first time in December 2001, when a 4 day festival was held in the forsaken Ajdovščina underpass in Ljubljana. Having operated for a good year and a half, ARTish has managed to present more than 300 Slovenian and foreign artists. By taking a step out of Slovenia, the aim is to integrate artists from faraway lands and present their works in Slovenia, as well as take Slovenian artworks to other countries.
