As part of the By the Way series, visual artist and poet Neja Tomšič will present drawings from her project Tea for Five, Opium Ships, in which she explores the tea and opium trade in the second half of the 18th and the 19th centuries to passers-by on Vegova Street. The centrepieces of the project are five hand-painted tea sets for the Chinese tea ceremony. Each set represents an opium ship and its story. During the exhibition, tea ceremonies for groups of five will take place in Ziferblat, with tea served in the sets and the author telling the stories of the opium ships.
