Presentation of how Slovenian cultural organisations have been successful in drawing funds from EU culture, film and audio-visual programmes in the period 2002–2013, and announcement of the new EU programme Creative Europe.
When plans are being made for the future, it is sensible to look back and establish to what extent we were successful and what could be done in a better way. Before transferring to the new EU programme Creative Europe (2014–2020), we will present a short analysis of intensity and effectiveness of Slovenian culture, film and audio-visual organisations drawing funds, which will be based on a graphic overview of the period 2002–2013. It will be disclosed which organisations were drawing EU funds for these fields, which of them were successful several times, whether they comprised more public institutes or private organisations, and so on.
On the occasion, a representative of the Slovenian Ministry of Culture will present the future EU programme Creative Europe, which after 1 January 2014 will be merging the expiring programmes MEDIA and Culture, and perhaps also announce the first calls for co-funding activities in cultural and creative sectors for the coming year.
