Headliners Overkill and Death DTA will be supported by Sanctuary, Abysmal Dawn, Chronosphere, Methedras and Loudblast. Together they will form an exquisite experience on 10th of March 2015.
Even though this will be Overkill’s first club performance in Slovenia, they for sure don’t need any special introduction. The band, which has been led by two restless metal legends, Bpby Blitz and D.D. Verni for more than 30 years, has already performed twice at our favourite metal festival in Tolmin. Overkill is for sure an unique thrash metal institution, so do not miss their show at the intimate club atmosphere.
Death DTA Tours is an institution, which has caused a lot of turbulence in the metal community. This is absolutely not just another tribute band or a pathetic attempt of a Death reunion. The purpose of Death DTA is very simple – a tribute to works of Chuck Shuldiner and Death. The line-up consists of Death members in time of the “Symbolic” album. So come join the live nostalgia with Stevea Di Giorgio, Gene Hoglan, Boby Koelble, Max Phelps and special guest Steffen Kummerer on vocals.
Sanctuary is a band, which never actually stopped working, so it is really impossible to label them as a “comeback band”. Even before Seattle has been occupied with grungers, Sanctuary has redefined the American power metal. Their albums like “Refuge Denied” and “Into Mirror Black” are still considered as a heavy metal highlight. The creative path of Warrel Dane and his company has been full of ups and downs: in 1992 Sanctuary fell apart and became Nevermore. In 2010 they revived Sanctuary, but only for a limited number of shows. A year later Nevermore has been laid to rest and Sancuary finally rose from the ashes with an incredible album “The Year The Sun Died”.
American death metal band Abysmal Dawn, thrashers from Switzerland Suborned, Italian thrashers Methedras and a young French death metal band Loudblast will support three headliners.
The concerts start at 16:00, so make sure you take a day off and fully enjoy this unique festival!
