Join us for a workshop focusing on traditional Japanese woodcuts with watercolours, which will be led by artist Ceci Tsang. The simple graphic technique on handmade Xuan paper was also used by the famous Japanese art movement Ukiyo-e. At the workshop, we will learn about the method and create our own graphics.
Ceci Tsang is an artist who mainly works with graphics and installations. She graduated from the Taipei National University of the Arts, where she is enrolled in the Fine Arts MA programme. In 2016, she also graduated in Visual Arts and Culture from the Hong Kong Design Institute. She is currently doing an exchange at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Ljubljana.
The workshop is free and aimed at people over the age of 15. The number of participants is limited. Apply at: ema.kobal@dobravaga.si.
