The audiovisual live-act of the slovenian techno and experimental electronic duo Random Logic comes as an announcement of their new release and is a direct result of a decade spent researching music as the art of time. Their forthcoming album pays tribute to the sign π and endorses the sonic expression of duration. Formed as a single continuous set, it seeks an attentive listener wishing to benefit from hearing imperfect and unrepeatable sounds caught in loops.

Random Logic – Miha Klemenčič and Gregor Zemljič – are regarded as the pioneers of slovene contemporary electronic and ambient techno music. Their internationally acclaimed first album Numrebs was released under the music label Tehnika in 2001. Their second album π and its premier live presentation in Kino Šiška will be featuring video art created by Gašper Milkovič Biloslav in Marko Vivoda.

SND (UK)

SND (Mark Fell &  Mat Steel), a duo from Sheffield  is regarded as one of the pioneering cast in contemporary electronic music which was in the early days establishing field of so called glitch and ‘click & cuts’ electronic music with strong references on underground streams of British dance music. From 1998 SND have released copule of albums on established labels such as PAN, raster-noton and Mille Plateaux. The latter was groundbreaking label in second half of the nineties and SND crucially marked their aesthetics of agile digital sound minimalism. Later they changed their approach and turned to solo projects and collaborations also in the field of sound art and sound installations. Especially Mark Fell who has in last 5 years become one of the main electronic musicians who is important sound artist and curator.   As SND Fell and Steel have performed with Autechre (they have also remixed their music), they have created music for famous Sheffield’s Designers Republic, remixed music of Ryoichi Sakamoto and collaborated with NHK (Kouhei Matsunaga). Experiencing an SND performance can be alienating, engaging, dynamic, and unforgiving; each event a unique exploration of the relationship between performer, audience, between technology and space.
