On the biggest day of goodwill and beer – St. Patrick’s Day – Happy Ol’ McWeasel and guests will celebrate their 10th anniversary at Kino Šiška.
The folk punk rock seven-piece that, as luck would have it, formed exactly on St. Patrick’s Day ten years ago, has conquered many European and nearly every Slovenian stage during its career. Energetic and extraordinary performances, full of acrobatic jumps and manoeuvres on stage, have become the trademark of one of the more intriguing Slovenian rock bands.
In 2013 and 2016, Happy Ol’ McWeasel released their albums No Offence and Heard Ya Say! for the Japanese market via music retailer The Tower Records and Uncle Owen Utd. Records. In 2014, the group gained global recognition with the help of CBS’ TV series The Crazy Ones, featuring Robin Williams and Sarah Michelle Gellar in the lead roles – the series’ soundtrack included the band’s version of well-known song ‘Danny Boy’.
Come celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with a group that’s no stranger to sharing beer among the crowd – and will also be toasting its own birthday!
