In the editorial of the new issue of Maska, entitled Prostori/Spaces (219–220, Spring 2024), Pia Brezavšček writes: “[A]n individual or a group of people who have a space for their life and work, from which they are not being expelled and at the same time do not deny space to others, feel good in their community, feel heard, feel at home. It is a space for learning to coexist and negotiate the shared values of a particular community […].”
The third event in the series Temporality Catastres of Spaces, entitled Our Thing, will look at different experiences and perspectives in order to answer together, in this multifaceted context, questions related to our present, but also to our common future: What kind of space management do we need today? What kind of artistic content can we create in certain spaces? What kind of sociality do we produce as a community? What knowledge do we create and what knowledge do we share? What have we been given to manage and what will we pass on to younger generations?
The event will be moderated by Pia Brezavšček, Teja Reba, Alma R. Selimović, Dejan Srhoj and Tomaž Zaniuk.
Organised by Maska Ljubljana and Nomad Dance Academy Slovenia in collaboration with Kino Šiška.
Free admission.
