The self-produced video gained over 140,000 views within it’s first month and was followed by write-ups on a major part of the blog world. The ‘Northern Lights EP’ was released in late January 2013 through LA-based indie label Iamsound, with the band adding their second single ‘In Your Eyes’ together with remixes from ‘Taken By Trees x Belief’ and ‘Superhuman- oids’. Soon followed the “simple, stark and stunning” (V Mag) video for ‘In Your Eyes’ putting Kate Boy “well on their way to carving out a niche of their own” (The Line Of Best Fit). Festivals and headline shows in Europe are booked throughout the summer together with a club tour of North America in June.
