The pioneers of contemporary Slovenian indie rock are returning to the scene of some of their greatest triumphs! Koala Voice will present their long-awaited new album Auf Wiedersehen at the grand finale of their nationwide album release tour in Šiška.

Manca, Miha, Domen and Tilen have been intertwined with our venue since the very beginning of the band Koala Voice. It was here that they recorded their first major success by winning the first season of our Špil Liga competition, went on tour abroad with the help of our Kulturni Evro fund, unplugged with Siddharta, celebrated our annual jubilees with us and more, all the while growing into one of the key bands in Slovenia today. With a catchy, radio-friendly mix of spontaneous indie, energetic punk-pop and dancefloor disco, they’ve established themselves on both the local and international scene, performing at prominent festivals such as INmusic, Exit, Eurosonic Noorderslaag and Liverpool Sound City.
On their new tour, Koala Voice are bringing us their fifth studio album, Auf Wiedersehen, which is already reaping positive reviews from abroad – Croatian magazine Ravno Do Dna, for example, called them the biggest Slovenian indie rock sensation and used the new album as excellent proof that Slovenian music has been wrongfully neglected in the neighbouring country. On the band’s return to Šiška, we can of course also look forward to well-known hits from previous records, in the good company of a captivating stage presence and infectious guitar riffs.
Afterparty duties will fall to local dance-floor veteran Shekuza, who’ll spin a blender house set beneath our stairs.
