The exhibition at the conclusion of the “Beavers” Festival will round off the workshop that took place at the Trnovo Primary School under the mentorship of artist Lene Lekše as part of the Beaver’s Young Eyes project.
The starting point of the workshop is storytelling where the reader chooses between different options for continuing the story. Instead of a book, the storytelling workshop used text-based games in which the player/reader interactively “writes” the final story with his or her decisions and choices. With the help of collective storytelling, the students created a story with various possible outcomes and also provided drawings and animations (gifs). With the help of a programmer who programmed a simple user interface, the story was turned into a game. The final result, a computer game, will be on display and available to play at the exhibition at Kino Šiška.
