Following their successful European tour, the legendary Laibach are returning to Šiška with an abundance of new material. Their performances at our venue are usually sold out, so we recommend buying tickets as early as possible.
Laibach released a new EP, Love Is Still Alive, on Mute Records in January. The release was created in interaction with an original soundtrack for the sci-fi comedy Iron Sky: The Coming Race (2019), which will also see the light of day in April this year at Mute. Musically, the new EP is a journey through some of the “space” music genres of recent decades.
To top it off, this year Laibach also released a brand-new album, Sketches of the Red Districts, where they once again touch on their “industrial-experimental” past. Approving reviews of the EP, the album and also the cover of the pre-apocalyptic song “The Future”, with which they paid tribute to Leonard Cohen, confirm that the band is still one of the most important and vital bands not only in Slovenia, but in the whole world.
In October 2022, Laibach started the first part of their European concert tour Love Is Still Alive and played ten concerts. The second part with 13 concerts started in January this year. Their shows are described in superlatives, and as part of the tour, the group will also perform at Kino Šiška in Ljubljana on 21 April.

The planet Earth we once knew as our home is now just a dead rock floating in space, ravaged by wars, pandemics, and all the evil that humans have caused. The Moon, which once served as a springboard to the vast universe, but later turned into a refuge for the last surviving Earthlings, is also destroyed. Now the remnants of humanity wander through space on a single spacecraft carrying the lucky few saved from the cataclysm. They are going to Mars, where life is said to have once existed. They may have lost their history and their planet, but as long as they have a glimmer of hope and a guiding red light to guide them in the darkness, they will bravely go where no one has gone before – as long as love is still alive.”
