Serbian music phenomenon Marko Louis is coming to Slovenia for the first time! The singer, born into a family of musicians, has been listening to 1960s and 1970s soul and jazz since his childhood. In his own music, he combines and enhances the sounds of his youth with influences from his motherland, with his Balkan-tinged view of soul, R&B and pop spreading throughout the region like lightning. For his first visit to Slovenia, he will present his new album Euridika, which also contains beautiful duets with Božo Vrećo, Sarajevo-based band Helem Nejse and even his sister Maja.
An exceptional voice, a feeling for just the right amount of grandiosity in the arrangements, and a pleasant character have brought Marko Louis from Germany, where he was born, back to his parents’ homeland. He started charming listeners around the Balkans with his first album Shine On Me (2015), following it up with the likewise successful Beskraj (2017), and now continuing with Euridika, released in October.
After the concert, DJ Zeds, Slovenian mash-up master and the protagonist of the famed Sladica nights, and his pal DJ Bayo will keep the Friday dancing going on late into the night.
