Having been displayed for the first time in the Tolmin Museum and at various locations in Tolmin town centre during the Metaldays 2014 music festival, this exhibition of photographs was made in order to further improve the cohabitation of the festival and the local community. Taken by six authors: Miha Koron, Miro Majcen, Rafael Marn, Simon Pelko, Maja Pucelj and Stipe Surać (Cr), the photographs depict the relaxed festival atmosphere and extensive music programme taking place in summer months at the confluence of Soča and Tolminka rivers. In eleven years, the festival Metalcamp or Metaldays has hosted all the most prominent global names of metal, and there were thousands of visitors having fun below the stage and along riverbanks. It is not only music to be enthused about, but also the unique location and numerous possibilities to enjoy natural and other attractions in the Soča valley.
The exhibition has been organised as a cooperation of the Tolmin Museum and Metaldays festival organisers, and has been supported financially by Tolmin municipality and Ministry of Culture.
