Natriletno kolobarjenje s praho is a project founded by the author and theatre director Jure Novak to accompany the release of his second collection of poetry in 2011. It is a collaboration between him and the versatile vocalist and multiinstrumentalist Uroš Buh (ReLight, Same babe, Zaklonišče prepeva).
Natriletno kolobarjenje is a project, focused on the synergy between complex, rich poetic lyrics and the diverse musical approaches, centered in the two authors’ musical roots – of grunge and punk music.
In 2013, the duo was awarded first prize at the KantFest singer-songwriter festival and this included a recording session in the famous Studio 22 of the Maribor branch of the national radio.
They recorded eight songs there and these form the eponymous debut album. The songs were mixed by the renowned team of Igor Vuk (N’Toko, Moveknowledgment) and Gregor Zemljič (Random logic, Earresistible mastering). The result is a compact and energetic album that veers between socially engaged themes and intimate insights into contemporary living.
A series of live shows is planned, beginning with the promotional concert in Kino Šiška, while the duo are already preparing new material.
