At the end of June, artist Neža Perovšek will conclude her residency in the DabraVaga Gallery’s Open Studio. She will mark the occasion with an exhibition showcasing what she has been exploring and working on over the past three months.
Neža Perovšek (1996) is completing her master’s degree in painting at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design, where she graduated in 2019. She has held solo exhibitions in 2018 and 2019 at the DobraVaga Gallery and in 2021 at the DLUL Gallery. She has participated in several group exhibitions in Slovenia (Ravnikar Gallery Space, Alkatraz Gallery, Layer House, Bank of Slovenia …) and abroad (Fish Factory, UK and Improper Walls, AT). In September 2021, she was assigned a studio at the Poligon Creative Centre. Her works are the product of researching her personal archives and primarily used as justification for her excessive collection of material. The whole process of their creation is based on compulsive acts of collecting, drawing and the constant internal flow of information.
Free entry.
