Young London-based Slovakian Nina Kohout blends the eerie atmosphere of her homeland’s folklore with classical music elements and innovative trip-hop.
Her timeless and anarchic musical world lets her form an ongoing conversation between invasive horror and fragile purity. She won the Slovakian national radio’s 2020 Radio_Head Newcomer of the Year award, performed around Europe and supported acts such as Lola Marsh, Cathy Davey and múm. She is also known for her work with the electronic band Autumnist.
Summer in Šiška is a series of free evening concerts, helping you chase away the social distancing blues. If the weather cooperates, we’ll cool off with a refreshing drink on the summer terrace of Café Kino Šiška, and if it looks to be raining, we’ll listen to good tunes beneath the roof of our Komuna Hall. Welcome to your Summer in Šiška!
Free entry.
Organisation: Kino Šiška.
