Promising Slovenian band NOAIR are returning to the stage after almost two years! The local rock band of a global format, who have already shared our stage with bands such as Peter, Bjorn and John, MRFY and Jonathan, will present their new album Square.
Local band NOAIR has been sailing through varied indie waters for many years, strengthening its musical appetite through various experiences, genres and projects. On their creative path from alternative pop to raw indie rock, they don’t exclude electronic influences, either, and the final genre blend builds its aesthetics on a modern sound, as proven with their debut album Existential and the follow-up Superhuman. The latter includes the hit song “Colours” and also won them praise from Jure Longyka during their appearance on his radio show: “We’ve gotten a world-class rock band that does not disappoint in any rock club, and the evocativeness and beauty of the music paves their way into the mainstream media as well.”
NOAIR are returning to Kino Šiška for the fourth time, having previously shared the stage with Peter, Bjorn and John, Koala Voice, MRFY and Jonathan. In 2019, they also performed at the MENT Ljubljana festival, which later led them to the Waves Vienna festival. They used the pandemic break afterwards to prepare their third album Square, which they will present to us live at the end of October.
