In the lecture, Aljoša Harlamov, longtime comics fan and one of the authors of the O.B.O.D. (S.H.I.E.L.D.) podcast will first present the comics hero Zagor, still one of the most popular comics heroes in the area of the former Yugoslavia, celebrating 60 years since the first issue this year. Harlamov will also reflect on whether Zagor’s popularity is due to the stories combining numerous, sometimes mutually exclusive genres, such as Westerns, adventure comics, gangster stories, horror and science fiction.
The event will be streamed live via the Kino Šiška YouTube channel and the TINTA comics festival Facebook page.
Spilt Ink is a series of (online) lectures and discussions about comics with experts and fans of this artistic discipline, in preparation for the 2021 edition of the Tinta comics festival at Kino Šiška in October.
