Cult Italian comic book artist Hugo Pratt created one of the greatest romantic heroes in comic book history and a pop-culture icon with a loyal fan base with his comic book series about the charismatic sailor and tireless adventurer Corto Maltese.
With the release of the Slovenian translation of the Fable of Venice comic book (Goga, 2023), Dr Peter Stanković, culturologist and professor at the Faculty of Social Sciences in Ljubljana, Dr Stefano Lusa, Slovene-Italian historian, journalist and publicist, and Marin Rosić, comics fan member of the punk band Carina, will share their views on Corto Maltese.
