In recent years, Slovenian youth comics have been experiencing a kind of boom. There is almost no bookstore or school library that does not have at least one shelf dedicated to comics. But there probably won’t be full-blooded and authentic comics reading without Slovenian popular-genre works. Do we have them? What are they? Where are they? How many are there? How are they created and what challenges do their creators face?
Literary critic Janez Grm will talk about all this and more with his guests Ivan Mitrevski, Matej de Cecco and Boštjan Gorenc – Pižama, who have been enthralling young readers with their comics for many years.
