We will talk about comics that are partly self-confessional and partly documentary. These include the freshly translated À la vie! by French author L’homme Étoilé (Star Man), who presented his own experiences working in palliative care in the comic book.
The comic book medium uses various, even black-humored contrasts – in the pictures, the process and the messages – when tackling difficult topics, and L’homme Étoilé, Matej Kocjan – Koco and Ciril Horjak, moderated by Žiga Valetič, will discuss what provides comics with such direct entry into the Human.
The debate will be translated simultaneously into Slovenian and French.
Organisation: Kino Šiška and the French Institute in Slovenia.
Free entry.
