Four years after their last album, Slovenian punk rock group Real Life Version is releasing a new record, titled Furious Winds and Ice Cold Showers.
Real Life Version have been a mainstay of the Slovenian punk rock scene for over ten years. On their new album Furious Winds and Ice Cold Showers, they bring together the moments they’re convinced were the most important for the band itself during the making of this album. The veteran musicians, who have shaped their own recognisable style on a foundation of punk rock, hardcore and DIY principles, and who are also active in other groups (The Hoax Program, Mart, Bed Religion), have already tried out the new songs on numerous tours all over Europe.
On the new album, they guys step aside from social issues and political themes. “Maybe we’re aware of growing up, that we can only change ourselves, and hope to spread the positivity to others. But the main life lesson and change in thinking were caused by unexpected events that turned our lives upside down,” they conclude.
