At the workshop, we’ll learn how to make unique notepads and diaries with the Japanese bookbinding technique. We’ll use old notebook pages, envelopes, posters and maps, leaving enough room for your drawings, notes and ideas.
Japanese bookbinding will also be interesting for all zine-makers, as you’ll be able to learn a new way to bind your zines.
The workshop will be led by Petra Gosenca and Katarina Zalar of the GUMB Association.
The workshop is free and aimed at 15-year-olds and up. The number of participants is limited. Apply in advance at: urska.aplinc@dobravaga.si.
When entering the venue in person, you have to display a negative PCR or HAG test or a certificate of recovery or vaccination, in accordance with National Institute of Public Health instructions and the decree in the Official Journal of the Republic of Slovenia, until revoked or changed.
