Romachild is perhaps the most surprising Slovenian music duo of recent years! The fact that the power duo consists only of drums, electric guitar and vocals is quite unique; even more unexpected is the fact that we hear two masters of the Slovenian music scene in it: drummer Roman Ratej and multi-instrumentalist/producer Martin Štibernik.
Together they create a new musical story, full of positive energy, powerful guitar riffs and explosive authentic music that never leaves you indifferent in its colourfulness. Roman has played the world’s biggest stages and collaborated with some of the biggest names in popular music, both international and local. Martin is known as one of the best and most sought-after writers/producers in our country.
With their unique musical identity and unrelenting passion for music, Romachild completely own their place on the Slovenian music scene in the last year. Last year they released single ‘Supersonic Gaucho’, ‘La La King’ and ‘Half Is Not Enough’, and in the autumn they released their first EP Matador, alongside the track of the same name and the English version of the single ‘Old School’. This year we can dance to the tunes of Vzem si ga.
