We first met the Ljubljana-based indie pop trio Shiver River as a duo who took their blend of jazz and pop, influenced by the likes of King Krule, Cosmo Pyke and Hiatus Kaiyote, to the finals of last year’s Špil Liga competition for young artists, intriguing us with their incorporation of different arrangements. Recently, the band introduced saxophonist Lev Selassie to the lineup, adding another layer to their live performances.
Summer in Šiška is a series of free evening concerts, helping you chase away the social distancing blues. If the weather cooperates, we’ll cool off with a refreshing drink on the summer terrace of Café Kino Šiška, and if it looks to be raining, we’ll listen to good tunes in accordance with applicable public health regulations beneath the roof of our Komuna Hall.
