Mini Comics Festival
A new season of Stripolis will be launched by a magnificent whole-day event – a proper Mini Comics Festival. On Saturday 14 September we will be celebrating the ninth art in Kino Šiška with a fair featuring all Slovenian comic publishers, a second-hand comic bazaar and stalls where aspiring self-publishers will be presenting themselves. Authors will be signing their albums, either bought at the spot or brought with you, and drawing at joint jam sessions. Live presentations of new editions will be held throughout the day, animations by Slovenian artists will be screened in the lobby, and documentaries on comics in Slovenia will be screened in Komuna Hall, with directors available for questions and debate. The event will be brought to conclusion by a traditional Stripolis discussion with a Slovenian comic legend Marjan Manček.
