Behind the mask of the name slava slave is an enigmatic artist who has already appeared on Šiška’s summer stage in one of his previous incarnations.
An eclectic array of beats, pasted together samples, occasional acoustic lines and vocals offers a range of various influences, references, styles and musical approaches. Last year, the local musician released the album “safe safr” in collaboration with producer NoKiltr, while tetameta and Feliks Vran contributed some backing vocals. slava slave weaves a sonic tapestry of eerie melodies, heavy rhythms and atmospheric structures, or as he describes it, his music is like “a call into the shadows, where the boundaries between pain and pleasure are blurred.”
Summer in Šiška is a series of free evening concerts on Wednesdays for summer get-togethers and bonding over music. In good weather, you can cool down with a refreshing drink in hand in the summer garden of the Kino Šiška Café, and in case of rain, you can enjoy the music under the roof of our Komuna Hall.
