The team behind Hungary’s Ukmukfukk zine festival takes us on a journey into the fantasy realms of contemporary Hungarian artists at the Ethereal Landscapes exhibition.
Complex patterns and imaginative narratives intertwine in dreamy prints that subtly blend light and color, merging surreal panoramas with intriguing details. Artists with diverse styles and techniques explore themes of memory, fantasy, and the subconscious, inviting us to step into their dreams and view the world through their eyes.
The exhibition showcases the power of imagination, transforming the ordinary into the extraordinary, while affirming the core principles of Ukmukfukk: creativity, experimentation, playfulness, self-expression, and a DIY ethos.
UKMUKFUKK Zinefeszt is a two-day festival in Budapest, now in its eighth year as well as an exciting creative community dedicated to the vibrant and ever-evolving world of zines. Their mission is to popularize zine culture in Hungary and bring together the diverse and dynamic Hungarian zine community.
